I have been recycling for years, but I don’t know why it took me so long to get into the eco friendly mindset. I am now consciously looking at my purchases and my activities with a critical eye towards how things are made, what chemicals are used how it might affect my health and the planet. I am starting with household cleaners. Time to wash and clean things in a more organic way. After that, I will start to add organic cotton clothing to my wardrobe. I decided to start a list of eco friendly companies on http://ecosites.org so I can find the things I need a little faster. Of course now I feel like I have to make purity decisions about just how organic or eco friendly some of these companies and products really are. I’m discovering that it’s not easy going eco.
