Jeniffer Smith October 30, 2012 at 2:34 pm

I’m definitely not wrapping as many presents, and most of them will (hopefully!) be handmade!

Jamie G October 30, 2012 at 9:09 pm

Handmade gifts

Jenny October 30, 2012 at 9:53 pm

I have no idea! Hopefully you girls will have some good ideas for me at the party!

Jolene October 30, 2012 at 11:42 pm

I plan on making lots of gifts and using reusable bags instead of gift bags !

Tracey N October 31, 2012 at 11:43 am

I always reuse giftbags from year to year and this year I thought I would make more homemade gifts. Also organic and natural gifts. We reuse all our decorations from year to year and don’t use many things that require extra electricity to use. I also use lots of handmade ornaments that the kiddos make each year which I love because it makes it more sentimental and creative and fun to see the changes from year to year.

Candace October 31, 2012 at 1:29 pm

We green it up by reusing paper, containers, etc!

Sarah L November 2, 2012 at 10:19 am

I plan on reusing gift bags and boxes from last year

Emily @Random Recycling November 3, 2012 at 8:10 am

I’m trying to buy more from local businesses and small craft sites.

Kamila November 7, 2012 at 10:16 pm

So looking forward to this Twitter party and finding out the gift ideas you girls have in store including wrapping. I like to use kraft paper and colorful ribbon or old newspaper with a nice ribbon or bow always does the trick.

Also, Amanda saw you are eco-hosting on Abe’s Market — CONGRATS, absolutely love your website and the content!

we also do organics, and a lot of times we hand make (repurpose) gifts. We also reuse a lot of the things from years past.

Just being careful to recycle, you would be surprised how hard that is!

Plan on homemade gifts

Dan November 12, 2012 at 10:09 pm

We are limiting our gift giving to each other in general just to not contribute to consumerism at large. For our children, we are investing in a few eco gifts from small businesses!
