As you may know, we moved into a new home last year and while there are many things I love, the thermostat is not one. I could not figure out how to properly use or set it, causing a lot of discomfort (and grumpiness on warmer days.) So when I was given the opportunity to give a Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat a try, courtesy of Honeywell and at no charge to me, I jumped on it!

The Honeywell Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat is simple to install and offers easy control over your indoor environment – from anywhere! Check out the quick video below to see just how easy it is to install. One you’re done, you may need to cover old holes and touch up paint, but even that is no big deal.

One thing I love about this thermostat is that it does not take up a lot of real estate on your wall. It’s quite small and I appreciate the sleek, modern design.

In addition to being easy to install and use, it also comes with a host of features. Honeywell’s app allows you to program your thermostat from your computer, tablet, or smartphone—from anywhere in the world. I may have to try this out when I head to Blog U in June! In addition to being easy to access, this thermostat offers flexible scheduling options to allow you to program for your unique needs. It even features an indoor humidity sensor and shows the humidity on the display.

Pick your favorite color, match your decor, or even show off some team spirit. If you want to tame the fun, especially with the kiddos, there are even advanced password options for security.

Honeywell is giving you a chance to win your very own Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat! Simply enter below, and good luck!

You can find out more about this model (and others) at the Honeywell website.

We actually have this for our lights and it is wonderful! Our light switch automatically turns our outside lights on when the sun goes down, off when it is up, and we can set it to random if we are out of town. I’d love to win a thermostat too, it would be great for Florida.

My husband would love to be able to control the thermostat from work! He’s always getting on to me for not turning the air up in the morning and it’s the source of much stress.

I am such a stickler for turning it down when we’re out of the house… I have turned around a few times and driven back a few blocks just to do so! Would be lovely to turn it down from afar.

I looked at another brand a few years ago. We have a dual zone system & for a while I tried bumping the downstairs unit up/down when we were/weren’t there, but I never remembered!

I’m interested in the fact that it’s programmable.

My favorite feature of the thermostat is the smart response that learns your heating and cooling patterns. I would love to win because my Husband is dreadful for messing with our current thermostat and then forgetting to adjust it back before bed/leaving the house.
Visited the site and learned using the energy savings calculator I could save $426 a year using the thermostat.

I like the fact that I can control it from anywhere, we travel often and during the winter months especially I want to be able to monitor my furnace/indoor air temps so the pipes don’t freeze.

I would LOVE to be able to adjust the thermostat from bed on a cold winter’s morning. Yes, I’m lazy!

Another neat gadget that my husband can play with? Sounds like something he would love! I wouldn’t mind this too. What a neat idea! This would be so nice to have in the new house we’re building! Fingers crossed!

We’ve been looking at these for years! It gets so hot here in Florida, we have our AC on for most of the year it seems like. I hate the wasted electricity that happens when I forget to turn the temperature control up during the day. This would be such a great way to help us conserve energy!
