We always look forward to the holidays, and we just love the great fun of the annual Inappropriate Elf contest over at Baby Rabies. However, this holiday season won’t be quite the same… Our family relocated this summer, and our poor Elfie has gone missing. It’s been six long months, but we’ve finally had to face reality.

Elfie is gone.

His friends have begun eating their emotions.

Today we remember him.

Like the time Elfie got a job as a mailman and thought that one of
Mr. & Mrs. Johnson’s kids looked familiar.

TIME Magazine’s exclusive North Pole Edition
– and won the 2012 #InappropriateElf contest from Baby Rabies.

Are You ELF ENOUGH? #InappropriateElfHe was the best party pal!

tumblr_mebsgpnhuO1qltgyfo1_400We miss you Elfie!

Perhaps one day we will DIY a new elf to join our home, or just stop fighting it and buy one.

This. Is. Awesome.

Sorry that Elfie is missing. But at least he brought joy, laughter and the first prize last year.

Alas, we will miss him and your amazing & hilarious photos.

Love it! We do something similar in our family with Harold, the Christmas Frog!
