Thirsties $7-20

I sort of adore this company… and all of their products. Their covers were the first I ever tried and I love them still (6 years later). I can’t pick just one favorite product, so please don’t make me!!! You really can’t go wrong with this brand. From diapers to inserts, balms to wet bags, Thirsties really has it all. Your giftee will love them.

Onya Baby Outback with Baby Booster $185

I love, love Onya. The company, the people, the products. The Outback is a wonderful carrier, comfortable, and with the baby booster it may be the only carrier that a mom will ever need. Available in four neutral color schemes.

HALO Bassinest $230

The HALO Bassinest is truly one of the best new infant products I’ve seen in a while. As a co-sleeping, bed-sharing mom I realize that it is NOT for everyone and not everyone can do it safely. However, I do believe in the benefits of sleeping in close proximity—for both to mom and baby.

The HALO Bassinest provides a safe, stress free way to have baby close. Unlike traditional bassinets, the Bassinest has a mesh exterior allowing you see baby clearly at all times. This one feature allows you to be more aware of baby’s sounds, hunger cues, and breathing. This simple, but genius feature could prove vital for an infant. On top of this, they have made getting to baby easier too, allowing you to get to your baby faster in the sleep-like haze that is the early days with a newborn. Finally, unlike some other products, the Bassinest is meant for infants up to 5 mos. old or 30 lbs. Check thier webstie for a store near you.

Bamboobies Nursing Pads $25

Thin and descrete, these nursing pads are hands-down a crowd favorite — and a blessing to any new mom. Be sure to check my Nursing Pad Roses tutorial for a beautiful and fun way to gift these.

Earth Mama Angel Baby Bottom Balm $8

If you’ve been around this blog at all, you’ll know that I love EMAB’s bottom balm. It was one of the only things that worked for my girls’ sensitive skin, and I use it still for minor burns, cuts, scrapes, and more.

Project Pomona Little Wren Jeans $34

Project Pomona jeans are SO cute, but more than that they are perfect for cloth diapered babies—designed with room for all of that extra fluffin’ awesomeness 🙂

Moraki Cloth Diapers $27

If you want a little flair to gift a cloth-diapering mom-to-be, look no further than Moraki (More-a-key). Their one size diapers come in everything from sophisticated to totally far out!

Shower Gifts 3

Eco Nuts® Dryer Balls $27

Dryer balls eliminate the need for toxic dryer sheets. They natually soften laundry and reduce drying time. They are perfect for all laundry – baby, family, and even diapers! Check out my tutorial for how to make Coffee Filter Flowers and gift them up in a vase full of Eco Nuts soap nuts!

SprayPal $26

The biggest concern when it comes to cloth is, “What about the poo?” With the SprayPal and a diaper sprayer, poo is of no concern. Simply spray and flush it away. No splatter, no yuck.

Rumparooz Little Joeys $30 (for two)

Another newborn diaper I simply must have if we ever have another baby. Little Joeys are SO cute and I’ve heard amazing things about them for years. Your giftee will be over-the moon with these adorable diapers.

Snappi $10

No cloth diapering stash is complete without at least one Snappi. The Snappi has got to be one of the most earth-shattering cloth diapering inventions in my lifetime. While modern cloth has moved and evolved, the Snappi has made the classic prefold a true favorite for many parents.

Molly’s Suds Cloth Diaper Laundry Powder $15

Based on the Real Diaper Association’s recommended ingredients, Molly’s Suds contains no harsh chemicals, filler, enzymes or fragrances. It’s safe for baby and perfect for cloth diapers, as well as baby clothes!

Zen Rocks Teething Jewelry $15

Babies chew on everything, well before they ever start teething, so it’s important to have safe items readily available. Zen rocks offers a variety of designs and colors. I’m partial to the beautiful Lotus, but there is something there for any parent-to-be.

Tiny Tush $22

Fitted diapers are one of my favorites. They allow baby to feel when they are wet (which makes learning to us the potty SO much easier), they are natural fibers (no senthetics up against baby), and they’re highly absorbent (making them perfect for nights.)

SoftBums Calendar Bums $22

If you’re looking for a unique diaper to gift, look no further! SoftBums Calendar Bums are a fun way to get new prints—seasonally! Scroll down on their homepage to see the current print.

Charlie Banana 2-in-1 Reusable Diapering System $60

One of the things I love about Charlie Banana is their beautiful, giftable packaging. This 3-pack of diaprs is an affordable gift that will give mom some variety and fun.

Allen’s Naturally Stink Out $8

Though cloth diapers rock, washing routines are quite individual. Everything from your water hardness to machine, your child’s diet to the brand of diaper you use, can make a difference. There may be times when you’ll want to kick your machine, but before you do that there are some handy tools to try. One is line drying (you’d be amazed by what a little sun can do) or a product like Allen’s Naturally Stink Out. This could prove to be a lifesaver for a parent new to cloth and trying to find their groove.

Grandma El’s Baby Shampoo $9

Though baby doesn’t need washed often, unless they get dirty, it’s important to have a safe, non-toxic shampoo and wash on hand. Grandma El’s is gentle and naturally tear-free.

Changing Diapers $15

The Hip Mom’s Guide to Modern Cloth Diapering, the title says it all. This book is full of everything a new parent needs to know about cloth diapering.

GroVia Newborn All-in-One Cloth Diaper $15

If I have another baby, you can bet that I will have several of these ADORABLE all-in-ones in my stash. Not only are they cute, but they work and that can make things easier for the parent of a new baby. Your giftee will thank you.

Healing Hazel Anklet $14

Wearers say that Hazelwood can alleviate everything from heartburn and exzema to ulcers and acid reflux. As pretty as this is, I’d say it’s worth a try, and a lovely way to pamper a new mommy 🙂

Smart Bottoms Born Smart Newborn Diaper $18

The interior of the diaper boasts 3 layers of organic cotton sewn in to the diaper and an additional 4 layer snap-in insert (included).

Kelly’s Closet

Not a product, but Kelly’s Closet is a great one-stop shop for all things natural parenting!

  • These are awesome ideas! Many of my friends and family members are expecting, which gets me thinking of cute/unique ideas as gifts. Thanks for the list!

  • Wonderful blog! I found it while searching on Yahoo News.
Do you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News?
I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there!
    Appreciate it

  • This is a fantastic list! Thank you for including both expensive and inexpensive items. I feel like it can be hard to find quality baby shower items that don’t cost an arm and a leg, but you did it. I have several friends who are eco-friendly but don’t cloth diaper (although I certainly encouraged it!) and this list has great items for them too. 🙂

  • Great list! I like how it includes cloth diaper stuff, and non cloth diapers products! No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t convince my sis in law to use cloth 🙂
